Set team combined age division entry restrictions on event registrations

Particularly in Surf lifesaving masters events is common for event organisers to be required to restrict entries for team divisions based on the combined age of the individuals within the team.

Therefore, Liveheats allows for setting restrictions where the total combined age of all members of the team has to be within a maximum and/or minimum value.

How to set combined age restrictions on registration

  1. Go to the Event settings and click the Entry restrictions tab
  2. Scroll down to the Division eligibility rules area and click the + icon next to the Division that requires the age restriction and choose the Age: Combined age option(Please note that this is only available for team divisions)

  1. A modal will then open, allowing you to create an age combined restriction for a division, including:
  • minimum total combined age, and/or
  • maximum total combined age;
  • by a specific date

You don't have to enter a minimum and a maximum, but you need to enter at least one

  1. Click Update to add the restriction, and then click Save at the bottom of the Entry restrictions tab
  2. To edit an existing restriction or add an additional restriction, click the cell in the restriction column for the division.

  1. Continue this same process to apply other division restrictions. Remember to click Save at the bottom of the Entry restrictions tab to ensure all restrictions have been saved.

To see the other division entry restrictions we have available for event registration, please see: Setting up event and/or division entry restrictions for your event registration
