Set event division entry restrictions for team member individual ages

Particularly in Surf lifesaving events is common for event organisers to be required to restrict entries for team divisions based on the individual ages of one or more members within a team.

Therefore, Liveheats allows for setting restrictions for Team member age, where at least one member of the team has to meet a maximum and/or minimum age range.

How to set team member age restrictions on registration

1. Go to the Event settings and click the Entry restrictions tab
2. Scroll down to the Division eligibility rules area and click the + icon next to the Division that requires the age restriction, and choose the Age: Team member age option(Please note that this is only available for team divisions)

3. A modal will then open, allowing you to create a Team member age restriction for a division, including:

• minimum total combined age, and/or
• maximum total combined age;
• by a specific date

You don't have to enter a minimum and a maximum, but you need to enter at least one

4. If your event has restrictions for more than one team member, click the Add additional athlete age restriction and follow Step 3 again

5. One all-athlete team member age restrictions have been added, click Update to add the restriction, and then click Save at the bottom of the Entry restrictions tab

6. To edit an existing restriction or add an additional restriction, click the cell in the restriction column for the division.
7. Continue this same process to apply other division restrictions. Remember to click Save at the bottom of the Entry restrictions tab to ensure all restrictions have been saved.
