Managing an Athlete's Profile as an athlete, parent, coach or team manager

Your Liveheats account can be linked to your own athlete profile, or to the profiles of athletes you manage as a parent, guardian, coach or team manager. Once linked, you can enter events, manage memberships and follow results for each athlete.

Must knows

  • Athletes under 13 are managed by a parent or guardian. They can’t hold their own Liveheats account. The parent or guardian signs up with their own date of birth and manages the profile. See Creating and verifying your Liveheats account.
  • One profile can have several users. For example, two parents and a coach can all manage the same athlete.
  • Turning 13? The athlete can create their own account and ask their parent or guardian to link it to their existing profile, so their history stays together.
  • No profiles showing? Ask the organisation the athlete competes with or is a member of to link you.

How to manage an athlete's profile

  1. Head to www.liveheats.com and log in
  2. You’ll land on the Athlete dashboard. If you don’t, see the first common question below.

  1. Under Profiles, select the athlete.
  2. Their profile has three tabs:

Common questions

Why don’t I see the Athlete dashboard when I log in?

There are two likely reasons:

  1. You also manage an organisation with the same Liveheats account, so you have landed on the director view. To change this, click the Avatar menu at the top right of the screen, and under the list of Dashboards, select Athlete.

  1. You don't have any linked athlete profiles yet. Contact the organisation the athlete competes with or is a member of and ask them to link you to the athlete’s profile.

How do I add another parent or guardian to my child’s profile?

See Link another user or email to an athlete profile.

My child is under 13 and has their own account. What should I do?

Under 13s used to be able to create their own account, but can’t anymore. Email community@liveheats.com and we’ll work through it with you.
