As a Director, you can link a new user to any athlete that is in an event you manage. Linked users can then manage the athlete by entering them into events and series' on Liveheats.

Importing emails with entries

When you import entries to the event or to a division, simply include a column with "Email" in your spreadsheet, and this will link the athlete in the entry to the user. They will receive an email notifying them the link has been made and that they can manage their profile on Liveheats.

How to manually link a user to an athlete

1. Once logged in as a Director, go to the Athletes & teams area via the main navigation. Alternatively you can click Edit on their athlete details if viewing them through an event seed list or series membership list
2. Enter the athlete's name into the search box:

3. Click the athlete, which will take you to the Edit profile page, scroll down to the Linked users area

4. Click Link new user and enter the following details for the new user:

• the name of the user (e.g. the athlete themselves or parent)
• email address
• contact number (optional)

5. Click Save to update. If the new linked user does not have an account on Liveheats yet, they will receive an email to complete the set up of their new Liveheats account.
