Configuring rolling membership

When you use Liveheats membership solution, you have two options for how membership is managed:

  1. Series based membership (default) would be used if your athletes join a particular season (e.g. 2028), and their membership expires at the end of the season, no matter when they joined.
  2. Rolling membership allows members to join at any time, and the membership expires after a period of time as defined by you (e.g. 12 months).

By default, our memberships use Series based setting, but we can set rolling membership upon request.

How to configure rolling membership

Note: To configure rolling membership, please contact community@liveheats.com and our team will set this up for you on your behalf.

Common questions

We use rolling membership and have a family discounted price set. How does it work if a family member joins later than the other members in the family?

With rolling membership, family members need to join in the same transaction to get the discounted family price. This is because each member's expiry date is set from their own join date, so if they join separately, their expiry dates won't line up, and the family pricing logic doesn't apply.

As a director, you can work around this by manually adding the late-joining member to the series yourself and taking any payment, if required, offline. See here for how.
