Embedding a Youtube stream into your Liveheats event

If your event is streaming on Youtube, and you're not ready to stream directly to Liveheats via custom RTMP (recommended, as it unlocks features such as heat replays and clipping), you can now embed the stream directly to your event.


How to embed a Youtube stream into your Liveheats event

  1. Once you've created a scheduled live stream on Youtube (see here for how) go to the video itself, click Share, Copy:
  2. Go to the event on Liveheats and click Video studio and Add a stream:


  1. Select Youtube as the stream type, then add a Stream name (e.g. your event name) and the Youtube video URL/watch link (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/live/6RwfNBtepa4?si=XC_Ew4Okj9sewhuT): 

  1. Once your Liveheats event goes live and the stream is live, viewers can follow the stream on the Public event URL:
