## Awarding bonus points per athlete you defeat

With Liveheats, you can also award **bonus points for every athlete an entrant finishes ahead of**. This means bigger, more competitive events automatically reward higher performances.

**Example:**

If you place **5th in a field of 10**, and the base points for 5th are **610**, you’ve beaten **5 athletes - **so you earn **610 + 5 = 615 points**.

This encourages athletes to enter larger events and keeps rankings fair across different field sizes. To activate, contact us at [community@liveheats.com](mailto:community@liveheats.com) with your series ID.
