# Renaming a round in the draw

Once you've generated the draw, LiveHeats will give each round a default name (e.g. Semi final or Final). You can rename any round in your draw except for the final, for example, renaming the Semi final to Qualification. This article describes how.

# How to rename a round in the draw

1. From the  **Event dashboard** go to the relevant division and the  **Draw** tab
2. Click the three dots icon next to the round you'd like to rename and click  **Round settings**

3. In the first field, enter the name you'd like to apply to the round, e.g.  **Qualification:**

4. Click **Save** to update

*Tip: using the  **Redraw** feature will wipe any customised round names, so we recommend only renaming after your draw structure is finalised.*
