# Overriding the points allocation for a specific event division in a series ranking

This article describes how to run *advanced rankings* where divisions in the same event are awarded different point allocations in the series rankings - for example, winner of u18 Men wins 1000 points for first place in the series rankings, but U16 Men wins 800 points for 1st place in the series rankings.

# How to override the points allocation for a specific event division in a series ranking

1. For an event that belongs to your ranking series, go to the **Division** and click **Division settings**
2. Scroll to the bottom and click **Rankings**
3. For each **Series**, you can select the relevant **Points allocation** you'd like to use. Those points will apply to the relevant divison's result in the rankings
4. Click **Save**
