# Link another user or email to an athlete profile

Each athlete profile can be managed by more than one Liveheats account. For example, two parents can manage their child’s profile, or you can manage your own profile from both your work and personal email.

**Must knows**
* **For athletes under 13, link a parent or guardian’s email.** Athletes under 13 can’t hold their own Liveheats account.
* **The new user gets an invite.** If they don’t have a Liveheats account yet, they’re asked to set one up.
* **Every linked user can manage the profile.** That includes entries, memberships and profile details.

# How to link another user or email

1. Log in to Liveheats and go to the **Athlete dashboard**. You can get there from **Dashboards** in your **Avatar** menu (top right).
2. Under **Profiles**, select the athlete, then select the **Profile** tab.

3. Scroll down and select **Link another user**.

4. Enter the new user’s name and email, then save. They’ll get an email inviting them to manage the athlete’s profile.

# Common questions

###### My child has turned 13. How do they get their own account?
They create their own Liveheats account with their own email. Then you link that email to their profile using the steps above, so their results and history stay together.

###### The person I linked hasn’t received the invite.
Ask them to check their spam folder. If they still can’t find it, see [I didn’t accept my Liveheats invitation. How can I log in?](https://help.liveheats.com/en/article/i-didnt-accept-my-liveheats-invitation-how-can-i-login-1dxwjpw/)
