# Limiting the number of divisions each athlete can register for

You might like to limit the number of divisions that each athlete can register for. For example, you might like to only allow each athlete to register for one or two divisions. Use this setting to apply a limit.

# How to limit the number of divisions each athlete can register for

1. Go to the **Event settings** and click the **Entry restrictions **tab
2. Go to the **Maximum divisions per athlete **section
3. Enter the limit. If athletes can only register for one division, type in "1", or if two, type in "2"
4. Click the **Save **button at the bottom **Entry restrictions **tab
