# How-to guide on recording places for surf lifesaving events

# 1. Finding division

* Tap the **Search** field on the Event dashboard to find the division you're marshalling

* Tap the **heat title link** to get to the heat

* You will land on the heat details page

# 2. Recording placements

* Hit the green **Start** button to enable recording

* Tap **Filter and place**

* Search for athlete name and **tap the pink button** to record their place

* Once done, hit  **End and confirm**

# 3. Recording DNS, DNF and DSQ

* Tap the **Eclipse (three dots)** button

* **Select modifier** from the menu

* To remove or edit modifier tap the three dots icon
