# Adding, hiding or removing an event from the rankings

Events will appear in the public rankings leaderboard, if:

* the event is part of a series, and;
* the event status is set to **Results published**

# Adding an event to the rankings

1. Go to the **Event settings** and ensure that the **Series** is included in the field that reads **Which series does this event belong to?**
2. Then, change the **Event status** to **Results published** to make the event visible on your public rankings.

# Hiding an event from the rankings

To hide an event from the rankings, but to keep that event in your leaderboard:

1. Go to the **Event dashboard** and change the **Event status** (next to the title) to to **Complete**

# Removing an event from the rankings

1. Go to the Event settings, and remove the series from the field that reads **Which series does this event belong to?**

2. Then, change the **Event status** to **Results published.**
